About

About Us

We deliver validated, digital, AI driven, solutions, that support you to detect and manage neurological diseases and disorders. By combining cutting-edge technology with clinical rigor, our tools provide fast, accurate, and accessible brain health insights that improve patient care, support healthcare efficiency, and create measurable value for patients, clinicians, health systems and payors worldwide.

Our current portfolio includes the HDx Cognition (FDA and MHRA Registered) digital cognitive assessment platform and the iTremor (not yet FDA cleared) handheld device for measuring Ocular Microtremor (OMT) from the eye in 3 secs.

Dynamic Leadership

We lead with vision, efficiency, and adaptability, setting new standards in digital neuro-care.

Research & Development

Head Diagnostics is advancing digital neurotechnology to deliver accessible, science-driven tools to support cognitive assessment, mental health care support early diagnosis, and disease progression monitoring.

Through collaborations with leading research institutions, we are investigating advanced biomarkers across conditions including Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.

Leveraging AI, machine learning, and novel data modalities, we develop solutions that benefit patients, clinicians, and payors. Our strategy focuses on expanding access to brain health evaluation while improving accuracy, longitudinal tracking, and global patient outcomes. In Europe, we are investigating whether iTremor can be used as an instant screener to detect Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and potentially the presence of amyloid in patients at risk.

Healthy Population Data

In partnership with multiple and recognised institutions like the Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland), Beaumont Hospital, Dublin Technical University of Dublin, the National Optometry Centre of Ireland, Hyderabad University, India, Ohio State University in the U.S. etc. we’re building robust, repeatable normative datasets of Ocular Microtremor to support reliable and repeatable measurements with our iTremor device.

New Opportunity for Ocular Micro Tremor in Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s

Ongoing and planned Parkinson’s studies with Northumbria University (United Kingdom), the Mater/DNI Hospital (Ireland), and Hamburg Eppendorf Medical Centre (Germany) are validating  our tools as potential biomarkers for Parkinson’s diagnosis and monitoring. We will also very soon be announcing a major clinical study in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease across the USA, Luxembourg and Germany.

Multiple Sclerosis

Working with Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Ireland’s National Neuroscience Centre we are evaluating the use of our iTremor to monitor neurological differences in progressive patients and young MS patients to support individualised patient care and early diagnosis.

Dementia

Early research into the potential utility of OMT in Dementia is ongoing through collaborations with Northumbria University, United Kingdom and an accredited neuro centre in Germany.
